Performance Tuning

After much research and testing in the market, Griffin Performance has a high performance map developed by Dastec Uni-Chip that optimises the TD5 engine to produce greatly increased performance figures across the new range (see dyno results).  This gives exceptional performance but does not create excess stress or heat at the turbo or manifold as the large bore system allows the gases to escape more efficiently.

The power gains are developed with the full package of exhaust, inter-cooler, chip are up to 312 lbs/ft of torque and 180 bhp.  Also, under normal driving conditions,  you can achieve 275 miles on £40 of fuel - approx 33 miles to the gallon.  All this is achieved with a standard Land Rover air filter.  Our new induction system is being tested at the moment - we are awaiting the results.
